A charge from PAYPRO or PAYPRO US INC. on your statement
PAYPRO is PayPro Global, a company that sells software, online services
and other digital goods on behalf of the companies that make them. It calls itself "an
authorized reseller of software, SaaS and digital goods", and says its name appears on a
statement "as a result of the purchase of a product or subscription renewal".1
The word after PAYPRO is often the maker of what was bought. When the line says only
PAYPRO US INC. or PAYPRO GLOBAL INC, it does not tell you what was
bought, and PayPro’s own lookup form is the quickest way to find out.
Open payprous.com, PayPro Global’s page for people who do not recognise a charge, and enter the last four digits of your card and the amount. It shows the order, the product and its status.1 PayPro’s refund policy says refunds "are available for review within 30 days of product purchase", and that the maker of the product gets the first chance to answer the request.3 If an order was cancelled after you paid, the money is usually a pending hold at your own bank, not a charge. PayPro tells people to ask their bank to release it early.12
What it looks like on a real statement
The State of Delaware publishes every purchase its employees make on state cards, with the
merchant name as the bank received it. When we counted on 12 October 2026 it had 21 lines
containing PAYPRO, under 17 different names, from January 2016 to March 2026.5
South Carolina publishes a monthly report of its state cards. In the 75 monthly reports from
January 2020 to September 2026 that we could download, there were 48 PAYPRO lines under 14
names. The most common single name was PAYPRO US INC., with 18 lines from July
2021 to June 2026.6

The asterisk comes and goes. Delaware’s lines that give a product name have one in
2016–2019 and again from October 2025, but none between August 2020 and July 2024.5
If you search your bank’s app, search for PAYPRO on its own.
In South Carolina’s reports the last PAYPRO US INC. line is dated 3 June 2026 and
the first PAYPRO GLOBAL INC line 24 June 2026.6
Both names belong to the same group. PayPro Global’s terms list PayPro U.S. Inc., of New
York, among the companies that sell to you,4 and
payprous.com, the lookup page, is signed "PayPro U.S. Inc.".1
The name in the older lines is a web address: when we opened paypro-charge.com
on 12 October 2026 it forwarded to payprous.com.
How to find out what it was, and stop it
- Look the charge up On payprous.com, enter the last four digits of the card and the amount; the email address box there is optional. The results table on the page has columns for the date, order ID, order status, item name and total.1 The same lookup is on PayPro Global’s support page, where it also asks for the email address.2 Use the amount exactly as your bank shows it.
- Search your email Look for PayPro or payproglobal near the date of the charge, in spam as well. The order ID on the receipt is what PayPro asks for when you cancel or write to it.2 Ask anyone who shares the card. A receipt in someone else’s inbox is the most common answer to a charge nobody remembers.
- Cancel the subscription PayPro’s terms give three ways: the link in the renewal reminder email, the customer control panel, or its support team. Cancelling takes effect "at the end of the then-current billing cycle", so it stops the next charge, not this one.4 The support page has a cancel form that needs the email address and the order ID; it says that if you do not know the order ID, find it with the lookup.2
- Ask for the refund in writing, within 30 days Use the ticket form on PayPro’s support page.3 Keep the order ID and every reply. If nothing has happened after two weeks, say so in a new message: that is when PayPro’s policy says it reviews the request itself.3 Its phone numbers include +1-888-317-4868 (US and Canada, toll free) and +1-647-977-7769 (international).2
- If nobody helps, or you never agreed to it, go to your bank Tell your card issuer you want to dispute the charge. Bring the statement line exactly as printed, the date and amount, the order ID if you found one, and what you already tried. Ask what the bank’s deadline is for disputes. It depends on the bank, the card network and the reason, and missing it can end your options.
Charged, and then told the order was cancelled
Many reviews of PayPro Global tell the same story. Someone buys a program, the money leaves the available balance, and instead of a licence key an email arrives. One reviewer in May 2026 quoted it: "Your recent order has been temporarily placed on hold by our anti-fraud system", followed by questions about the billing address and the type and brand of card.12 Another, in June 2026, wrote that a $50 payment was "put on hold on my card (status: Pending)", and that over several days PayPro asked for a billing address, the card type, a screenshot of the bank transaction and a photo of a government-issued ID. The reviewer refused the ID and the order was cancelled.12 These are the reviewers’ own accounts.
PayPro’s replies to these reviews say the order was cancelled and PayPro does not have the money. To the June 2026 reviewer it wrote: "PayPro Global has cancelled the order and does not hold your funds. This is a standard temporary authorization hold placed by your banking institution". In 2024 it told another reviewer that such a hold "typically releases within 5-10 business days, the exact timeframe is determined by your bank's policies".12 Of the 292 Trustpilot reviews of PayPro Global we could open, 25 got a reply from the company that mentions an authorization hold, from 2018 to 2026.12
So call the bank, not PayPro. In September 2026 PayPro’s own reply said a hold from a declined order "is usually managed by your bank, so you might try to contact them to request an early release".12 A reviewer in 2022 wrote that their bank quoted "up to 16 days", and would release it sooner only with a statement from the merchant giving the 6-digit authorization code and confirming it would not claim the money; PayPro, the reviewer said, told them to wait 10 business days instead.12 If you are in this position, ask PayPro in writing for the order ID and a line confirming the order was cancelled, and take that to your bank.
Renewals and free trials
PayPro’s terms say a subscription renews by itself at the end of each billing period, and that before each renewal it sends "a renewal reminder by email specifying the upcoming charge, the amount, the renewal date, and instructions on how to cancel". A free or cheap trial turns into the full price "on the first day after the trial ends".4 A new card number does not always stop it: "Where possible, we may update your payment details automatically through your card issuer’s account updater services."4
A reviewer in November 2025 wrote that a one-week job-search subscription cost "$11.99 the 1st time" and that "A week later I am charged $29.99". PayPro replied the same day that the refund "has been successfully processed".13 If the reminder email looked like phishing to you, you are not alone: PayPro told one reviewer who called its emails phishing that they "are generally payment reminders, subscription updates, free trials, and invoices".13 Do not click the links in an email you are unsure of; type payproglobal.com yourself.
What the refund policy says
PayPro Global’s refund policy is one page. Refunds "are available for review within 30 days of product purchase". PayPro first notifies "the product licensor and offer[s] them the opportunity to resolve the refund request"; requests "that have not been resolved within two weeks are reviewed by PayPro Global Inc. and its subsidiaries". For card purchases, "the refund will appear on the next credit card statement".3
The same page warns buyers of digital products that "Continued use of the digital product after submitting a refund request constitutes a willful violation of copyright law, for which the buyer may be liable for substantial civil damages."3 Stop using the program once you ask for your money back.
In practice the software maker decides. PayPro told one reviewer in 2025 that "The software company set up its refund policy and issues refunds from its end", and another in 2026 that "refund approvals are determined in coordination with each specific software vendor's policies".13 If you bought as a consumer in the EU or UK, the policy says the 14-day right to withdraw does not apply to digital content once you have downloaded or started using it.3
Is PayPro Global a scam?
No, it is a real company. Its terms name PayPro Global, Inc. of Toronto, PayPro U.S. Inc. of New York, PayPro Europe Limited of London and PPG Digital of Warsaw as the sellers.4 Software makers that use it say so on their own sites (see the table above). We did not find a regulator action against it. A PAYPRO charge is usually a purchase or a renewal that you, or someone who uses your card, made and forgot. If the lookup finds nothing and nobody in your household bought anything, treat it as unauthorized and call your bank.
