A charge from VISTAPRINT on your statement
Vistaprint prints business cards, flyers, signs, invitations and other small print jobs ordered online. Most of its charges are one-off orders. Two kinds of charge come back on their own: a website subscription (now called Vista x Wix) and the VistaPrint Advantage membership, which renews automatically until it is cancelled.48
Sign in at vistaprint.com and look in My Account under Order History & Reorder and under Subscriptions.24 A website subscription cancelled within 14 days of purchase is refunded in full; after that it runs to the end of the billing cycle.4 If you had a Vistaprint website and now see Wix.com on your statement, that is the same website: its billing is being moved to Wix.7 If nobody who uses your card ordered from Vistaprint, Vistaprint says to call it, on 1-866-207-4955, and you should also call your bank.1
What it looks like on a real statement
The State of Delaware publishes every purchase its employees make on state cards, with the merchant name as the bank sent it. On 16 October 2026 it had 1,239 lines from Vistaprint, from July 2014 to September 2026. Almost all of them are one of two names, and the change from one to the other came in February 2022:9
| What the statement said | Lines | First and last seen |
|---|---|---|
VISTAPR*VISTAPRINT.COM | 569 | July 2014 to 10 February 2022 |
VISTAPRINT | 543 | 1 February 2022 to September 2026 |
VISTAPR*VistaPrint.com | 74 | June 2016 to March 2017 |
WWW.VISTAPRINT.COM | 37 | August 2015 to October 2021 |
VISTAPR*WEBSITE PKG or VISTAPR*Website Pkg | 5 | May to August 2016 |
PAYPAL *VISTAPRINT | 5 | October 2015 to September 2025 |
The same offices show the change. Between 20 January and 10 February 2022 the last six
VISTAPR* lines in the records came from six different agencies; from 1 February to 3
March 2022 the first VISTAPRINT lines came from three school districts, and one
of them, Lake Forest, has both names nine days apart. Of the 38 agencies that used
Vistaprint under both names, every one has its last old-style line before its first
new-style line, apart from Lake Forest.9 So a
charge before February 2022 reads VISTAPR*VISTAPRINT.COM and one after reads
VISTAPRINT; the business is the same.
Delaware’s records drop the rest of the line. Other public bodies’ statements show it:
VISTAPRINT 866-207-4955 for $93.89 on 26 June 2024 on Kane County, Illinois’s
card report,10 and
VISTAPRINT - 866-207-4955, MA for $29.65 on 27 April 2026 on a Kentucky school
district’s card statement.11 1-866-207-4955 is
the number at the top of Vistaprint’s own help
pages.1 MA is Massachusetts.
A website you forgot about, now billed as Wix.com
Vistaprint used to run its own website builder. It says that builder “has been retired and replaced by Vista x Wix”, and that a website subscription cancelled or inactive before September 2023 cannot be restored.6 Websites that moved over are now being moved again for billing. Wix’s help centre says Vistaprint and Wix are moving the billing to the customer’s Wix account, that “Charges will appear as Wix.com on your bank or card statement”, and that the plan, price and renewal date do not change. Card details are not passed across: the renewal fails unless a payment method is added in Wix.7
So one website can show up under three names over the years:
VISTAPR*WEBSITE PKG in 2016,9 VISTAPRINT after February 2022, and Wix.com after the move
(how to read a WIX.COM line and look up its invoice number). If
you see a Wix charge and never made a Wix account, check whether anyone in the household
ever had a Vistaprint website.
The membership
VistaPrint Advantage is Vistaprint’s membership programme; the page that holds its agreement is headed ProAdvantage Program Agreement, the older name. The agreement, updated 6 August 2026, says the fee is charged to your card in advance and that membership “WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW FOR SUCCESSIVE PERIODS, UNLESS AND UNTIL” you or Vistaprint end it. It can be cancelled on the members’ site or by phone at any time. Members who joined before 17 August 2026 stay on the old ProAdvantage terms until their renewal date.8 The agreement does not say how much the fee is or how often it is charged; that is shown when you join.
How to find the order and get your money back
- Look in Order History Sign in, go to My Account, then Order History & Reorder. Vistaprint says it does not start production until payment has gone through, so an order marked as in production or shipped has been charged.2 Check every email address anyone in your household or business uses.
- Look in Subscriptions My Account, Subscriptions, then Manage, Edit plan, Cancel subscription. A website plan cancelled within 14 days of purchase is refunded in full straight away; after that it stays active to the end of the billing cycle.4 To delete the website itself, the paid plan has to be cancelled first.5 If the charge says Wix.com, cancel it in your Wix account instead.7
- Wait for refunds the right length of time Vistaprint says refunds go back to the card used and take 3 to 5 working days to appear, and to contact it if a refund has not arrived after five working days.3 Refunds are often for part of an order: of 38 lines with a minus sign in Delaware’s records, only 10 match a whole charge from the same agency.9
- If nobody you know ordered it Vistaprint says to contact it right away about a charge you do not recognise, and that calling is “the fastest way to protect your account and prevent further charges”; it also says never to send card details by email or chat.1 Call your card issuer as well, dispute the charge and ask for a new card.
Is it a scam?
A line reading VISTAPRINT or VISTAPR*VISTAPRINT.COM is a real
charge from Vistaprint. One older kind of “mystery charge” is worth knowing about if you are
looking at statements from years ago. A 2009 US Senate Commerce Committee hearing on online
sales tactics heard from a Wharton marketing professor that after an order on Vistaprint,
customers were shown a cash-back offer that signed them up for a trial membership costing
$14.95 a month, run by another company, Vertrue, which got their card details from
Vistaprint for billing.12 The committee staff’s
report printed with the hearing lists VistaPrint USA among sixteen companies the chairman
wrote to on 6 November 2009, and says a lawsuit over the practice had been dismissed and was
on appeal.12 Those charges were billed by the club,
not under Vistaprint’s name.
Other names
This site records payment companies that hold back money belonging to someone else. Vistaprint is not in the incident record; this page is here so that people searching for a name on a statement find an answer. Other office services with their own pages here include STAMPS.COM for postage, CANVA* for design and DNH*GODADDY for websites and domains. Other names are in the table of statement names.
