A charge from AIRSLATE INC on your statement

AIRSLATE INC is a software company, not a shop. The name on the statement is the parent company; the product you actually used is usually pdfFiller, signNow or airSlate itself. That matters because the refund window is set per product: pdfFiller publishes 180 days from the first payment, signNow publishes 30.34

The short answer

Find the product first, then use that product’s own cancellation page. Search your email for “pdfFiller”, “signNow”, “airSlate” and “airScan”, and check the subscriptions list on your phone if you installed an app. If the purchase was made inside an iPhone or Android app, Apple or Google handles the cancellation and the refund, not airSlate.3, 4 If you never signed up for any of these products, treat the line as unauthorised and dispute it with your card issuer.

Which product took the money

airSlate’s contracting table, last updated on 1 October 2026, lists the companies a customer can actually contract with: airSlate, Inc. (Delaware, registered at 1209 N Orange St, Wilmington, DE 19801, with its legal notice address in Brookline, Massachusetts), airSlate Legal Forms, Inc., Instapage, Inc., DocHub, LLC, and companies in Ireland, Poland and Australia. The table says the applicable entity depends on the services used, the customer’s location and the payment method.2 So the same group can appear under more than one name, and a card issued outside the United States may show the Irish, Polish or Australian company instead.

On Google Play, the developer account “airSlate, Inc.” publishes pdfFiller, airScan, airSlate, e-taxfiller and Form Filler — five separate apps under one developer name.6 signNow is sold as “airSlate SignNow”. A statement line that says only AIRSLATE INC therefore does not tell you which of these you are paying for.

Why one company has two different refund windows

pdfFiller’s refund policy says: “If you are a first time self-service user, and you did not find our product helpful, you have 180 days to request a refund.”3 signNow’s says: “To request a refund, please contact our dedicated support team within 30 days of your first payment date.”4 Both pages were live on 3 November 2026, and both belong to the same group.

The exclusions follow the same pattern. Neither refunds a purchase made through the App Store or Google Play — those go back to Apple or Google. Neither refunds a subscription bought through a sales team, and both say a refund can be refused where use of the service was significant. pdfFiller adds transactions older than 180 days, third-party services and international or currency-conversion fees; signNow adds usage-based fees such as extra invites.34

Both products say the subscription renews automatically at the end of the trial unless it is cancelled before the trial ends, and both say that cancelling during the trial ends access at the end of the period without a refund — because nothing has been charged yet. Once a refund is issued, access is revoked; both say the money can take up to seven business days to appear on the statement.34

What cardholders report

The two posts below are the posters’ own accounts, not our findings. Both are on Reddit’s r/venmo, and neither poster says which product the charge was for.78

Public posts naming an airSlate charge, read on 3 November 2026
Posted Amount What the poster says
29 October 2024 $144 The poster says it was “the second time this company I’ve previously never heard of” tried to take $144, that they had emailed Venmo support and locked the card. In the comments, another poster says Venmo blocked the charge; a third says the company can be disconnected from the “connected business” list in a payment app’s settings.7
10 April 2026 $105 The poster says they used pdfFiller, cancelled the free trial “by the next day”, and that the cancellation was processed “a month and a day later (one day after the free trial ended)”, when $105 was charged through Venmo. They say Venmo denied the dispute with the message that the transaction was “consistent with your payment history”.8

How to stop it and get the money back

  1. Identify the product before you cancel anything. Search every email address you use for “pdfFiller”, “signNow”, “airSlate”, “airScan” and “DocHub”, and for the exact amount. On an iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. A receipt or a listed subscription tells you which company holds the account, and that decides which refund window applies.
  2. Cancel in the product, not through the bank first. pdfFiller’s cancellation page requires a login, so use the email address that received the receipt. signNow’s cancellation sits under My Account → Subscription; if an administrator scheduled a plan, the Admin Console has a separate “Cancel scheduled subscription” button.5 Do this before the trial ends if you do not want the charge at all.
  3. Ask for the refund in writing, inside the window. pdfFiller gives 180 days from the first payment; signNow gives 30.34 Both ask for the payment date and amount, the last four digits of the card (or the PayPal email), your full name, billing zip code and the email address used to register. Keep the ticket number.
  4. If it was bought in an app, go to the store. Apple and Google handle billing for in-app purchases, and both companies say they cannot cancel or refund those from their side.34 Use Apple’s “Report a Problem” or Google Play’s refund request.
  5. If the charge is not yours, dispute it as unauthorised. A subscription you forgot about and a card you never entered are different claims; say which one it is. Give the bank the date, the amount, the statement line and any cancellation confirmation you have. The table of unfamiliar charges explains how other billing names map to companies.

Is an AIRSLATE INC charge a scam?

No. airSlate, Inc. is a real software group with a published contracting table and published refund policies.23 The confusion comes from two things: the statement shows the parent company rather than the product, and a free trial that requires a card turns into a paid subscription unless it is cancelled. That does not make an unrecognised charge authorised. If no account, receipt or subscription exists under any of the names above, dispute it.

This page covers consumer charges. Merchant funds held by payment companies are recorded separately in the incident record; there is no airSlate entry there as of 3 November 2026.

Other software billing names are in the table of unfamiliar charges. For the e-signature product this group competes with, see DOCUSIGN.
